‘all’ is actually two sounds – /or/ + /l/

Note 2:
When a vowel is followed by one ‘r’, it creates a new vowel sound (e.g., ar-car, ur – church, er-flower, ir-girl, or-fork).

When a vowel is followed by ‘rr , the vowel does not change (e.g., carry, hurry, berry, irregular, porridge).
