Description
The Multisensory Reading Program Level 3A: Part 1 consists of the first 13 units in the Level 3A program. It is designed for students with a reading accuracy of between 6½ to 7 years who are having difficulty learning to read, including those with dyslexia. It would be suitable for older students who would find the Multisensory Reading Level 3B program too difficult and for young students who really only need to learn the graphemes associated with the 13 phonemes covered in this book.
It is envisaged that on completion of the book, students are reassessed. For younger students, it is likely that they will now be working at an age-appropriate level and no further intervention is required at this point in time. Older students, who now have a reading accuracy age of over 7 years would benefit most from moving onto the Multisensory Reading Level 3B program. Older students who still have a reading accuracy age under or around 7 years, are likely to benefit most from working through Part 2 of the Multisensory Reading Level 3A program.
