Alphabet Word Changer

The Alphabet Word Changer comes in two printable pdf ‘packs . The first pack consists of 27 word changes in which the initial letter changes to form new words. The second pack consists of 19 word changes in which the middle letter changes and 29 word changes in which the end letter changes. This activity is very effective for supporting the development of phonological awareness, auditory processing and the application of the alphabet code which are the building blocks of reading and spelling.
Alphabet Scramble
Alphabet Scramble requires players to firstly break a word into its sound components, find the letters that represent those sounds and then blend the sounds back into a word. It consists of 80 game boards.
Mad Mad Mad Flip Book
The Mad Mad Mad flip book has been designed specifically for beginning readers. Other than ‘the’ and ‘to’ every word can be sounded out by a child who knows the sounds of each of the letters of the alphabet.
Each page in the book has been divided into 3 sections – a subject, a verb and a noun phrase, each illustrated with an appropriate picture. The book consists of 22 unique sentences. However, because each of the three sections can be turned independently, a large number of different (often crazy) sentences can be made.
